Johanna Thomsen has been hired as an intern (20%) for the next half year to serve the seniors, building on her ministry experiences in Japan. She plans to return as a missionary to Japan and sees this as an opportunity to not only serve her home church, but to be better equipped for future ministries.
She plans to develop the IPC senior ministry to include monthly fellowship events, a book club, a small group, and home visits. The book club will take place on Wednesday mornings, starting on February 28, in the French Hall. We will be looking at a book by Tish Harrison Warren called Prayer in the Night: For Those Who Work or Watch or Weep. For inquiries, please contact Johanna.
