At IPC’s Annual Retreat last fall, we began the process of looking at ourselves, our neighbors and our neighborhoods to discover how we can better become a neighborhood church. This next series will build on what we learned with a follow-up of four retreat workshops.
The aim of the series is to create a mind-set shift and look at our neighborhoods as our personal missionary fields. After all, our friends, neighbors and family are all people God specifically placed around us -people who also need Jesus.
The workshops will expand beyond techniques of sharing your faith and the traditional idea that evangelism is for missionaries on the field.
