This class will examine the Old Testament Book of Psalms.
How does the Psalter portray issues such as prayer, law, the nature of God and human nature? Through studying the biblical texts, this class will consider the various ways that psalmic literature addresses such questions. To complement the study, we will read Claus Westermann’s book, Praise and Lament in the Psalms. Participants may purchase a copy
