Have You Heard it?

There’s only one way that will result in faith and give you the kind of faith that dares to trust God for the impossible. You have to soak yourself in the Word of God.
Faith is a process and its development goes through a process and this is what Romans 10:14-21 is talking about.

Think about your own life. Who has God sent to be his messenger to you? A relative? A friend? A co-worker? Or maybe a schoolmate? Who first told you about God?

Faith comes by taking steps:
• Hearing the Word of God initiates your faith.
• Speaking the Word of God activates your faith.
• Doing the Word of God demonstrates your faith.

We all start with hearing the Word first, and then we get to speak the Word, followed by doing the Word. But it all starts with hearing. And we will always go back to hearing the Word, especially in times of trouble.

Wherever you are in your life, do not stop the process.

Audacious faith comes by hearing the Word of God and consuming it. And then take it into the world, so other people can hear it too.

Prayer: Thank you God for your Word. Keep me strong in faith. May I understand your calling in this world; may I share the hope to which you have called me. Amen.
