Jeremiah 17:7-8

Faith

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river… neither shall cease from yielding fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Do you sometimes feel in doubt, alone, and that you have no choices?
My mother told me that there are two things that will make my dreams come true − my choices and my commitment to those choices.

On April 2, 2010 at 06:00, a young expectant Mosotho mother landed at Zürich airport to join the father of her unborn child. This young, proud mother was me. There had been dreams dreamt, responsibilities taken and choices met up until this moment.

I found Lake Zürich still, everything was peaceful and beautiful just like in a dream. I believed in the beautiful dreams of parenthood, motherhood and family and in new beginnings in my new home far away from home.

The challenges ahead were enormous, and I had faith in the almighty Lord as always. I took the responsibility to choose a church, my next home and family. I chose IPC.
At IPC I chose to serve the Lord; I chose to be kind to everybody, young and old; I chose to be part of the solution; I chose to embrace change; I chose to forgive; I chose to make a difference; I chose to strive every day to be just a little bit better…

Since October 2016, I have new responsibilities and challenges and I have to find equilibrium between me, my family and my work. And I take all my family challenges to the Lord.

May almighty God bless your choices and may you choose wisely in your life, for yourself and your loved ones.

Prayer: Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me and I shall be saved; for thou art my praise. (Jeremiah 17:14) Amen.
