With tremendous sadness, we have all followed the tragic events of the war in Ukraine. Our hearts go out to the people of Ukraine who are suffering because their loved ones have been killed and their homes and cities have been devastated by foreign forces. Please pray for:
- the people of Ukraine and Russia; for hostilities in Ukraine to end; for protection of the civilian population
- God’s church in Ukraine; that Christians will firmly proclaim the truth of the Gospel through word and action
- The presidents of Ukraine and Russia, for international leaders and diplomats as they negotiate for an end to the war
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen
For financial donations
In order to support the relief effort for people inside Ukraine and for refugees coming out of Ukraine, IPC will take up a collection. You can donate by way of Twint or by transferring money to IPC’s bank account with the remark “Ukraine” (Bank: UBS Switzerland; Account: CH34 0025 1251 8803 5701C; Account holder: IPC International Protestant Church). The proceeds of the collection will be shared between HEKS (the aid organisation of the Swiss Reformed Church) and Medair. Both organizations are helping Ukrainians inside and outside of their country.
