Trekkies, Potter Fans, Ego Shooters, and Other Good Christians: What Science Fiction and Fantasy Teach Us About Being People of Faith? Speculative fiction—through books, movies, games, and even cosplay—shapes imaginations worldwide. While some consume these stories mindlessly or avoid them due to controversy, they offer much more than escapism. In this workshop, we’ll explore how these narratives illuminate questions of faith, identity, and purpose, inviting us to reflect critically and passionately on what it means to live authentically.
