Fifteen years ago, on Sunday, March 3, 2002, IPC officially adopted the Shan as part of the “Adopt-A-People” initiative. Since then we have been supporting them financially and with prayer. Over the years, IPC has sent long and short term missionaries to Thailand to serve among the Shan. Many members of the congregation have also visited our missionaries serving the Shan and Shan villages. On Sunday, March 26 after church we would like to celebrate our adoption of the Shan with a small birthday party as a way to remember our commitment to our adopted people group. Please join us for cake after church on March 26!

We will have a voluntary collection at the Shan birthday party which will benefit Shan children from the Napajat Church in need of bibles.
