Recommendation for those who travel from Zurich HB: Please take the 08:06 train that goes to Bern and get off at Baden (first stop).

Information on ticket zones: If you take a ticket from Zurich, usually Baden city is included; the public transport zone in Baden is 570, which includes Wettingen also.

The first leg, Baden to Wettingen will be by bus. Please ensure that zone 570 is included when you take the ticket. From Wettingen onwards, we will do the hiking.

The Baden city tour is split into 3 parts and will touch upon the following topics:

1. Identity and history of Baden – Part 1(before leaving to Wettingen)
2. Identity and history of Baden – Part 2(when we return to Baden from Wettingen)
3. Spa culture of Baden (at the end of the hike, just before the optional spa visit)
