Becoming a "Neighborhood Church" Continued

At IPC's annual retreat last fall we began the process of looking at ourselves, our neighbors and our neighborhoods to discover how we can better become a neighborhood church. This next series will build on what we learned with a follow-up of four retreat workshops.

The aim of the series is to create a mind-set shift and look at our neighborhoods as our personal missionary fields. After all, our friends, neighbors and family are all people God specifically placed around us--people who also need Jesus.

The workshops will expand beyond techniques of sharing your faith and the traditional idea that evangelism is for missionaries in the field.
