YOU can be Part of the Children’s Ministry Team
We are excited about sharing God's Word with the children and we would like you to be excited too! Our children are precious gifts from God and they need a lot of support and prayers. There are many ways of serving in the IPC children’s ministry: teachers, assistants, safety officers, musicians, Kids Worship and P.O.S.T leaders and assistants, writers, artists and more.
As Children’s Ministry continues to grow, and new programs and activities are planned, we are in need of many more people to volunteer and join our team. There are always plenty of opportunities and openings available where you can serve.

Nursery
The IPC nursery is in great need of loving people to help care for the babies and small children during the morning worship service. Volunteering in the nursery is a wonderful way of serving young families by showing the love of Jesus to the children, and giving parents an opportunity to participate in the worship service knowing that their children are in good hands. Safety Officers
Our team needs additional officers. A good suggestion is for couples to join this team. Please contact Carlson, our safety officers coordinator, at safetyofficer@... or our Sunday school director, at ssdirector@... to learn more about this position.
Junior Church Team or Kids Worship Team
Do you have a musical talent, or perhaps have a creative flair? Then one, or both, of these programs would be of interest to you! The older Sunday school children have a special program on the last Sunday of the month to worship our Lord in song and praise. They also try their hand in constructing a valuable craft.
Evening Worship Sunday School
A Gospel Light children's program (0-3/4-8) is being offered in the Methodist Church basement rooms during the evening worship service. Teachers, parents and members of our youth group are working together to make this program possible. Special Program Team
A special program is offered during Easter, summer, and Christmas for the 2- 5 year olds during morning worship. We need a co-ordinator who would work alongside the elder for Children's Ministry and the director of Sunday school to plan and oversee the program. We also need a team of volunteers to help run the programs on these Sundays. Each Sunday we need 4 adults and 2 youth. Serving would happen on a rotation basis. The ideal persons to join would be those who want to be part of the children's ministry but can't commit to one Sunday a month. Our next event is on Easter Sunday. Why not volunteer now?!
